Day 6 - December 21 - Quepos - Rainmaker Private Reserve
We continued to keep an eye on Denver weather. In the morning we bused
to a private park called the Rainmaker. The
road took us through African Palm plantations, until we reached the
mountains.

Upon reaching our destination, we were divided up into two groups,
Marina and Don in one, and David and Michael in the other. Both groups
did the same loop for the hike, but in opposite directions. We crossed
paths halfway though.
The tour we were on included small suspension bridges that put you up
into the canopy. The size of our group was 10 people. The guide said
though that he wanted a maximum of 8 people on the platforms at each
end of the suspension bridges, and 4 people on each of the bridges
except the long bridge, which could only take two people at a time.
This meant that while you were up in the canopy, you did not have the
guide to point out things that could only be seen in the canopy.
In the afternoon, we took the bus into Manual Antonio, bought some tea
shirts to take back home and took the bus back to the hotel. In the
evening the whole group ate at the hotel. This was Pat and Greg's last
night with the group as they were going to stay on for 2 extra days in
the Quepos area.
