Many restaurants are in the vicinity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other day here are some options.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/gocity.com\/stockholm\/en-us\/products\/all-inclusive\/attractions\/drottningholm-palace\">Drottingham Palace<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/gocity.com\/stockholm\/en-us\/products\/all-inclusive\/attractions\/boat-tour-drottningholm-palace-return-ticket\">Boat<\/a>&nbsp; A 2.25 hour boat tour under <a href=\"https:\/\/gocity.com\/stockholm\/en-us\/products\/all-inclusive\/attractions\/under-the-bridges-of-stockholm\">12 bridges<\/a> and in and through the islands.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Day 9 (or 7 or 9 for Birka), we are thinking about a longish boat trip into the archipelagos.&nbsp; A lot of this is just looking at scenery while passing between the many islands.&nbsp; &nbsp;I provide information here on several options.&nbsp; Please submit comments for first and second choices.&nbsp; Some of these are also available through the go city pass, but you have to show in the morning and hope there are tickets available.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Option 1.&nbsp; &nbsp;A&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stromma.com\/en-se\/stockholm\/excursions\/day-trips\/birka-the-viking-city\/\">Boat Tour to Birka across Lake M\u00e4laren<\/a>&nbsp; Around 2 hours 15 mintes each way,plus time at Birka.&nbsp; Three hours on the island.&nbsp; 495 SEK ($45)&nbsp; There is a tour (included) and places to buy food both on the ship and the island.&nbsp; Viking exhibits (which likely duplicate Viking Museum) and some ruins and old buildings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Option 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stromma.com\/en-se\/stockholm\/excursions\/day-trips\/thousand-island-cruise\/\">Thousand Islands Archipelago Cruise<\/a>&nbsp; (only available on Day 9)&nbsp; SEK 1785 ($175)&nbsp; Includes Lunch and Dinner and fika.&nbsp; Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stromma.com\/en-se\/stockholm\/excursions\/day-trips\/thousand-island-cruise\/\">menu<\/a> here as the options are limited.&nbsp; Stops with shore time at three islands less than an hour each.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Option 3:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stromma.com\/en-se\/stockholm\/excursions\/day-trips\/gustavsberg\/\">Grand Archipelago Canal Tour to Gustavsberg<\/a>&nbsp;(only on Day 9) SEK 395.&nbsp; Two hours in Gustavsberg where there is <a href=\"https:\/\/gustavsbergsporslinsmuseum.se\/en\/\">porcelain musuem<\/a>. So that would be leaving our hotel around 1:45 by taxi.&nbsp; &nbsp;I think we can visit <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsweden.com\/where-to-go\/middle-sweden\/stockholm\/stockholm-old-town\/\">Gamla Stan<\/a> (old town) for the morning.&nbsp;
