Sylvan Lake State Park (Eagle County)
July 10, 2023 we went to Sylvan Lake State Park for the first time. It is a pretty drive up Brush Creek Road to a nice visitor center, and then about 6 miles of well maintained dirt road to the lake. At the lake, we did the loop trail around the lake, about 1.5 miles, but there are trail heads and access points all along the road.
The Park offers campgrounds and yurts (by reservation), day use picnic areas, hikes, and access to the The White River National Forest and the Holy Cross Wilderness area.
