The morning of day 10 found us just hanging at the hotel feeling pretty blah. No sightseeing, until it was time to leave for the Viking Lines Ferry. The Ferry leaves at around 4 from Stockholm and arrives the next morning in Helsinki. The route travels through the Swedish Archipelago through some pretty narrow spaces. 
And, I mean narrow. That is the Silja Lines ferry (about that same size as our ship) following in our wake through one of them. When less narrow there are lots of islands, some with houses and some old forts.
Our accommodations on the ship were good. We had a stateroom with a queen bed, and a balcony. And the seas were really smooth. This is the way to travel. I think the price for this with a very good buffet was less than a hotel night, and certainly less than a hotel plus airfare. So a good choice and fun.
We got up for breakfast (included with the cabin), and watched as we came into Helsinki.
